Gambling

AFA opposes gambling on aircraft because of the lack of information on the computer hardware and programs and their integration with the aircrafts' electronic systems. Since many questions and concerns remain unanswered, AFA believes the potential for problems, including interference with crewmembers and their primary safety responsibilities, is great.

Until AFA is convinced that flight attendants will not become cashiers, computer programmers, casino police and counselors for gaming activities, we will continue to oppose gambling on board aircraft.
