AFA Disaster Relief Fund (AFA-DRF) www.afacwa.org

AFA members and retirees, whose primary residence is located in a federally-declared disaster area and who have suffered damage and/or dislocation, are eligible for $200.00 from the AFA-DRF, if they are available. To apply, please contact AFA EAP at 1-800-424-2406, or fax the attached form to 202-434-1411, or send the information via email to eapassist@afanet.org . The form will be available online in the near future.

Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) www.fema.gov 

This Federal agency distributes money and services to individuals in designated disaster areas whose property has been damaged or destroyed and whose losses are not covered by insurance. Assistance may include cash grants up to $26,000. Register for the Individual Assistance Program at 1-800-621-FEMA or link to:

The Union Plus Credit Card-DRF  www.unionprivilege.org/hurricane.cfm

Cardholders experiencing financial hardships due to a disaster may be eligible for Union Plus Disaster Relief Fund grants which are available from $500 to $2000 and do not need to be repaid. To apply for a DRF grant, cardholders should call the Credit Card Disaster Relief Helpline at 1-877-761-5028. Other special assistance for cardholders includes lower rates and fee waivers for cardholders.
